I'm not very good at this blogging thing, am I?


anyway a couple of weeks ago, the Ark Royal paid a visit to the North East, and it was open to the public. So we set off on a Saturday morning, ready to queue up to get on. Luckily we only Had to wait for about 20 mins once it had opened. Unfortunately, all that was open was the hanger, and basically, I think it was a recruitment exercise for the Royal Navy. Once inside the hanger, there were small 'stalls' set up showing what each part of the Navy did. We enjoyed it tho, and here are a couple of pics.

HAPPY NEW YEAR - (Eventually!!)

Happy New Year to all....... I know it's abit late, but you know me and my regular blogging - NOT!!!

Anyway, hope you all had a good new year. We did. was quite a quiet one - went to our friends for the evening and played on the Wii and party games, then crashed on the sofas. Took Daniel with us as well, but Snowy went to her Grandma's, as she's not too happy with lots of people.

We bought a new car last week aswell. I'll be keeping my little old Micra, but we traded the Citroen in for a Vauxhall Zafira! it's not brand new, but won't be a year old until the end of this month. I'll take some piccies when I get round to it.

Was on the sick from work with some sort of stomach bug at the beginning of last week, and went back to work on the Wednesday. BIG mistake!!!! I then caught the flu bug, and am now off again! will probably stay off the rest of the week now - I know I'll get a sick warning from work, but don't want to risk ANOTHER bug, if I go back too early! was feeling a little bit better for some of today, so I stuck together my birthday book. and here it is:

This is the December Kit from Bubbly Funk. First one I've bought and actually made. It may well have to happen again!!

I also received a diary in the post from the lovely Di O from the Bubbly Funk Forum, and decided it would be my 'crafting diary'. So that's been altered and here it is:

I think I'll have to do some minor adjustments, coz it's coming unstuck inside.

just have to remember to use it now.

SPOILT!!!

Hi to all. Hope you all had a great Christmas and that Santa was good to you.

I got thoroughly spoilt by Carl this year - he always buys me jewellery as a surprise, but really excelled himself this year!!

These gorgeous things were on top of the DVD's, CD's, perfume, etc, etc, that I got aswell. Just LOVE HIM!!!

Anyway, Daniel was over the moon with his XBox360 and games, and other stuff. And although I didn't get Carl as much as he got me, he was happy with his 'Name a Star' gift, among other things!

We had Christmas Day as a family this year, with short present swapping visits from the parents. Then everyone landed for Boxing Day tea!

Both Carl and I were at work on Thursday, and Carl again today, but then we are both off until next Wednesday.

If I don't get chance to blog again this year, hope everyone has a great New Year - see you all in 2008!!!!

It's my birthday!!! (and It's Christmas it's my house!!)

YAY!!! It was my birthday today!! I had a day off work and Carl and I had a lazy morning wandering around garden centres, then I put up the xmas decs this afternoon.

I could only manage 1 picture coz as you can see he was desperate to get going - he wouldn't even pose properly for it!!

It was a great success and they all enjoyed it - even tho their team got absolutely hammered!!

Birthday Boy!!

Yesterday was Daniel's 12th Birthday!!!!

Looking back 12 years to when he was born 12 weeks early, weighing only 2 lb 11oz, we never thought he would get to this stage! I know I'm biased, but he's a lovely lad and we are all SOOOOO proud of him!

As a surprise for Daniel's birthday we bought him a Robosapien. There was a special offer on in Argos (or a pricing mistake!!) and we got version 2 for the same price as version 1!!! IT'S GREAT!!!! (the dog's not too keen tho!) As you can see, it's taller than the coffee table!! Just need to learn all the buttons to press on the remote control now tho!

Daniel is off to Quasar Laser tomorrow for a little partywith 3 of his friends. I'll blog some pictures, if I remember to take my camera!
